Our check of visme.co on 13 June 2026, four months before this review, recorded Starter at $29 a month and Pro at $59 a month, both cut by roughly 58 per cent on annual billing.

Buy Visme Buy Visme Starter if infographics, data presentations and branded reports are a regular output. It was $29 a month, or $12.25 a month billed annually at $147 a year, when we checked visme.co on 13 June 2026, and the annual rate is the only one that competes on price.
Skip it for social posts and thumbnails. Canva Pro was $15 a month per person on our 14 June 2026 check of Canva's pricing and is faster for both. Visme's free plan lets you design but not export, so it cannot settle the decision for you either way.
Where Visme fits
Visme is built for business-shaped visual content: infographics, data presentations, branded one-pagers and reports. The chart tools, data widgets and interactive HTML5 export are the parts no cheaper tool matches, and they are the reason to pay the premium rather than any template count.
The free Basic plan is the catch everyone meets. Our 13 June 2026 check recorded 500MB of storage, unlimited projects and no download capability at all, so you can build and share by hosted link but not export a file. It is a test drive, and an incomplete one.
Starter was $29 a month on that check, or $12.25 a month billed annually. Twelve monthly payments at $29 is $348, against $147 for the year prepaid, a difference of $201, which is the steepest annual gap of any tool in this category that we have figures for.
Pro was $59 a month, or $24.75 a month per user billed annually, which is $297 per seat across a year against $708 paid monthly, a difference of $411 per seat. Pro is where the brand kit, workflow management, role permissions and version history live, and the unit is a user, so two seats on the annual rate is $49.50 a month and $594 across a year.
Enterprise is custom-quoted and adds single sign-on, advanced security and dedicated onboarding. We have no figure for it and will not invent one, so treat the published ladder as ending at Pro.
Against the category Visme is expensive and specialised. Piktochart is the direct rival on infographics at $29 a month for Pro, or $14 a month billed annually, verified 14 June 2026. Canva Pro was $15 a month per person, verified 14 June 2026, and covers more ground less deeply. Snappa Pro was $10 a month, verified 12 June 2026, and is the tool for a quick thumbnail.

What Visme gives up
The ability to evaluate for free. A design tool whose free tier cannot produce a file is asking you to buy on faith, and our 13 June 2026 check recorded exactly that.
Price competitiveness on monthly billing. At $29 a month Starter is twice what several tools in this category charge, and the comparison only improves if you prepay a year at $147.
Speed on simple work. The editor carries a lot of capability, and a quick social graphic takes longer here than in a tool built for that single purpose.
