Browser-Based Video Editor
VEED's editor runs entirely in the browser with no download required. The interface includes a timeline for cuts and arrangement, a preview window, and side panels for text, subtitles, effects, and media. It handles the core editing tasks (trimming, splitting, merging, adding text and images, adjusting audio levels) with a drag-and-drop simplicity that works for beginners while still covering intermediate needs. The auto-resize tool reformats a single video for different platforms (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5) with intelligent cropping. The limitation is browser performance. Complex projects with multiple layers, long videos (20+ minutes), or large source files push the editor to its limits. You may experience lag, buffering, or occasional crashes on heavier projects. If your workflow consistently involves long-form or multi-layer editing, a desktop application will be more reliable. VEED is at its best for short-to-medium length videos with straightforward editing needs.
