ConvertKit Pages review: landing pages bundled with Kit email

ConvertKit Pages is not a product you buy, it is a feature of Kit's email platform. Our check of kit.com on 14 June 2026 recorded unlimited landing pages on every plan including the free Newsletter tier, with paid plans starting at $39 a month. That evidence is four months old.

The short answer

Buy ConvertKit Pages Use ConvertKit Pages if Kit is already your email platform, or is about to be. Our check of kit.com/pricing on 14 June 2026 recorded landing pages included on every plan, with the free Newsletter tier covering up to 10,000 subscribers, so the pages cost nothing on top of the email.

Skip it if you want pages without the email platform behind them, or if you need A/B testing. Swipe Pages recorded testing on its $89 a month Marketer plan on 14 June 2026, and Carrd recorded Pro Standard at $19 a year on 6 October 2026 for a simple site with no list attached.

Where ConvertKit Pages fits

ConvertKit Pages, now branded Kit Pages, exists so a newsletter can collect subscribers without a second subscription. The pages are built in the same tool as the forms, the sequences and the broadcasts, so a sign-up lands in a tagged list and triggers a welcome email without any connecting work. That integration is the whole argument.

The pricing is unusual for this category because the pages are free. Our 14 June 2026 check recorded landing pages and forms on the Newsletter plan at $0 a month for up to 10,000 subscribers, with unlimited pages and more than 30 templates. Nothing in this category comes close to that for a creator whose list is the business.

The paid plans are email plans. Our check recorded Creator at $39 a month and Creator Pro at $79 a month, both quoted from 1,000 subscribers, which is $468 and $948 across a year at those rates. The $40 a month gap between them buys email features rather than better pages, so a page builder is not what you are paying for.

One thing our snapshot does not record is how those prices move. Kit prices by subscriber count, and the figures above are the rates at 1,000 subscribers on 14 June 2026. What Creator costs at 5,000 or 25,000 subscribers is not in our evidence, so this page states no figure for it. Read the slider on kit.com/pricing against your own list size.

The free tier is also the thing to be careful about, because 10,000 subscribers is the point at which the arithmetic changes. Below it the pages are genuinely free. Above it you are on an email bill that grows with the list, and the pages come along with it rather than being the reason for the spend.

Against the dedicated builders this is a narrow tool with a wide reach. Unbounce recorded Build at $99 a month on 13 June 2026, and Instapage recorded Create at $99 a month on 12 June 2026, both of them bought for conversion work on paid traffic. ConvertKit Pages is bought for a lead magnet and a sign-up, and it is free, so the two things barely compete.

The Kit figures on this page come from a single check on 14 June 2026 and have not been re-verified. Four months is long enough for a free tier threshold to move, which here would be the most consequential change of all, so confirm the subscriber allowance before building anything on it. The landing page builders category covers the paid alternatives.

ConvertKit Pages pricing

There is no price for ConvertKit Pages on its own. It is bundled with Kit's email plans, and the figures below come from our check of kit.com/pricing on 14 June 2026, which is four months old. The ConvertKit Pages pricing breakdown carries the longer version.

Kit list prices as recorded on 14 June 2026, four months old and not re-verified since. The two paid rates are the figures at 1,000 subscribers; our snapshot does not record how they rise with a larger list, or whether annual billing is discounted.
PlanPriceWhat it adds
Newsletter (Free)$0/moUp to 10,000 subscribers. Unlimited landing pages and forms, more than 30 templates
Creator$39/moQuoted from 1,000 subscribers, $468 a year at that rate. Landing pages included
Creator Pro$79/moQuoted from 1,000 subscribers, $948 a year at that rate. Landing pages included

Your bill here is an email bill, and the pages ride along with it. Four things decide what you pay:

  1. Subscriber count, which is the meter. Our 14 June 2026 check recorded the free Newsletter plan running to 10,000 subscribers and the paid rates quoted from 1,000.
  2. Which paid tier you need, if any. Creator was $39 a month and Creator Pro $79 on our check, a difference of $40 a month, or $480 across a year of monthly rates.
  3. Nothing for the pages themselves. Our check recorded unlimited landing pages on every plan, including the free one, so publishing more pages does not change the bill.
  4. The parts of the bill our snapshot cannot tell you: the rate at subscriber counts above 1,000, and any annual discount. Both have to be read off kit.com/pricing, and this page will not estimate them.

ConvertKit Pages pricing against the landing page builders

On price there is nothing to argue about: free beats everything in this category, and the comparison is about what you give up for it. Swipe Pages recorded Startup at $39 a month on 14 June 2026, with A/B testing starting on its $89 Marketer plan. Leadpages recorded a $5 a month Starter tier on 6 October 2026, a more recent check than ours. Carrd recorded Pro Standard at $19 a year on 6 October 2026, which is the cheapest paid option in the set. Each of those buys page craft that Kit does not have; none of them brings an email platform with it.

Kit billing terms worth knowing

The single fact that matters is that the pages are a feature, so every term below is an email term.

Landing page cost
None on any plan. Unlimited pages, including on the free tier, as of 14 June 2026.
Newsletter (Free)
$0 a month, up to 10,000 subscribers on our 14 June 2026 check.
Creator
$39 per month quoted from 1,000 subscribers. $468 across a year at that rate.
Creator Pro
$79 per month quoted from 1,000 subscribers. $948 across a year at that rate.
Larger lists
Priced by subscriber count. Our snapshot does not record the rates above 1,000, so no figure is given here.
Annual billing
Not recorded in our 14 June 2026 snapshot. Check kit.com/pricing before assuming a discount.
Check date
14 June 2026. Not re-verified since, so confirm the free subscriber allowance first.

Kit Pages (formerly ConvertKit Pages) are included free on every Kit plan: including the free Newsletter plan (up to 10,000 subscribers). You get unlimited landing pages with 30+ premium templates at no extra cost.

The important number on this page is the free subscriber allowance, not the paid rates, because it is what makes the pages cost nothing. It was 10,000 on 14 June 2026 and we have not checked it since. Our creator tool cost calculators will total an email and pages stack once you have the current rate for your own list size.

What ConvertKit Pages gives up

There is no A/B testing on landing pages, and for anyone running paid traffic that single gap decides the question. Without a test you are guessing which headline works, and guessing is affordable on an organic lead magnet and expensive on an ad budget. That is why the paid tools in this category still sell.

The builder is basic next to a dedicated page tool. You get clean templates and limited room to depart from them, so a page that has to match a brand exactly, or carry an unusual layout, will fight you. The trade is deliberate: Kit is an email company and the pages are there to feed the list.

The pages only make sense if Kit is your email platform. Sign-ups land in Kit lists and trigger Kit automations, and that is the value. If you run email somewhere else, you are maintaining two subscriber databases to use a free page builder, which is a poor reason to do it.

Our snapshot records the paid rates at 1,000 subscribers only, so the real cost of growth is missing from this page. A creator planning for 25,000 subscribers cannot price that here, and we will not estimate it. Read the subscriber slider on kit.com/pricing before you commit to the platform.

The free tier is generous today and it is also a threshold. Pass 10,000 subscribers, as recorded in June, and you move onto a paid email plan you may not have budgeted for. The pages stay free in the sense that they never carry their own charge, but the stack stops being free.

The use cases are narrow by design. Lead magnets, newsletter sign-ups, waitlists and simple sales pages are what these templates are for. A multi-step funnel with order bumps is not, and ClickFunnels recorded Startup at $97 a month on 13 June 2026 precisely because that machinery is what it sells.

Our evidence is four months old and it covers a product that was renamed from ConvertKit to Kit, which is the kind of change that tends to come with pricing changes. Treat the figures above as a dated record of 14 June 2026 rather than today's rate card.

How ConvertKit Pages compares

The four tools below are the ones a creator weighs against ConvertKit Pages, and the axis is free pages attached to an email list against paid pages built for conversion work. Prices are each vendor's own published rates with the date we checked them, and those dates differ. The wider field sits in the landing page builders category.

What to test on the free Kit plan

There is no trial to arrange, because our 14 June 2026 check recorded landing pages on the free Newsletter plan up to 10,000 subscribers. Confirm that allowance first, since it is the figure the whole case rests on and it is four months old.

  1. Check the current free subscriber allowance and the paid rates for your list size on kit.com/pricing. Our figures are from June 2026 and the free threshold is the one that matters most.
  2. Build one real lead magnet page, not a test page. Pick the template closest to your brand and see how far you can move it before the builder stops you.
  3. Wire the sign-up to a tag and a welcome sequence. That connection is the reason to use Kit pages rather than a dedicated builder, so test it rather than assuming it.
  4. Check the page on a phone and time it. A page that feeds a list still has to load for people arriving from social.
  5. Write down whether you need A/B testing in the next six months. If the answer is yes, this is the wrong tool and no price will fix it.
  6. Price your own list size on the subscriber slider rather than the headline $39 a month, which our check recorded at 1,000 subscribers.
  7. If the pages are the point and the email is not, price Carrd at $19 a year on Pro Standard, verified 6 October 2026, or Swipe Pages at $39 a month on Startup, verified 14 June 2026. The cost calculators will total the stack.

ConvertKit Pages questions buyers ask

How much do Kit Pages cost?

Kit Pages are free on every Kit plan, so the real question is which Kit plan you're on. On our 14 June 2026 check, the Newsletter plan was $0 a month for up to 10,000 subscribers, Creator was $39 a month and Creator Pro was $79 a month, both paid tiers starting at 1,000 subscribers. That evidence is four months old. You get unlimited landing pages with 30+ templates at no additional cost on any of those plans. Landing pages are bundled with Kit's email platform, not sold separately.

Can I use Kit Pages without paying for Kit?

Yes. Kit's free Newsletter plan includes unlimited landing pages, forms, and email capability for up to 10,000 subscribers. You can use Kit solely as a landing page builder with email capture and pay nothing. It's one of the most generous free tiers available.

Who are Kit Pages best for?

Kit Pages are best for creators who already use Kit for email marketing or want a free, integrated landing-page-plus-email solution. They're ideal for opt-in pages, lead magnet delivery, and simple product launches. They're not for creators who need complex page designs, A/B testing, or sales funnels.

Kit Pages vs Carrd: which is better?

Carrd recorded Pro Standard at $19 a year, covering 10 sites, when we checked carrd.com/pro on 6 October 2026, and it is the better choice for a portfolio page, a link-in-bio page or a simple standalone site. Kit Pages suit an opt-in page wired into email automation, and our 14 June 2026 check recorded them included on every Kit plan, including the free Newsletter tier. Choose Carrd for a standalone page; choose Kit Pages when the email capture is the point.

Do Kit Pages support A/B testing?

No. Our 14 June 2026 check records no landing page A/B testing in Kit, so you cannot set headlines, layouts or calls to action against each other. If testing matters, Unbounce recorded A/B testing starting on its Experiment plan at $149 a month when we checked unbounce.com/pricing on 13 June 2026, and Swipe Pages recorded it on Marketer at $89 a month on 14 June 2026. Our 6 October 2026 Leadpages snapshot records six prices without recording which tier carries testing, so check that on the vendor's own page. For pages that only need to collect an email, Kit Pages are enough.

Can I use a custom domain with Kit Pages?

Yes. You can connect your own domain to Kit landing pages on all plans, including free. This means your landing page can live at yourname.com/free-guide instead of a Kit-branded URL. Custom domains are included at no extra cost.

How many landing pages can I create with Kit?

Unlimited. There's no cap on the number of landing pages you can create on any Kit plan. Create as many opt-in pages, lead magnet pages, and product launch pages as you need.

Can Kit Pages replace Leadpages?

For simple opt-in pages and lead magnet delivery, yes. For complex sales pages, split testing and deeper page design, no. Leadpages recorded six tiers from Starter at $5 a month to Scale at $200 a month when we checked leadpages.com/pricing on 6 October 2026, and it buys page building capability that Kit does not have. Kit Pages replace Leadpages for basic use rather than for advanced work.

Is Kit Pages worth switching email platforms for?

No: Kit Pages alone don't justify switching email platforms. But if you're evaluating Kit for email marketing AND you currently pay for a separate landing page tool, the bundled landing pages add genuine value to the Kit package. Evaluate Kit's email features first; the landing pages are a bonus.

What happened to ConvertKit Pages?

ConvertKit rebranded to Kit in 2024. ConvertKit Pages is now Kit Pages: same product, same features, new name. If you had a ConvertKit account, your landing pages transferred to Kit automatically.
