SmartLinks for Marketing Attribution (Discontinued)
SmartLinks were Chartable's signature feature — trackable URLs that measured which marketing channels drove actual podcast listens. You created unique links for social media, email newsletters, website embeds, and paid ads, then tracked which channels converted the most listeners. This was the closest thing to Google Analytics attribution but for podcasts. Since Chartable's shutdown, no tool has fully replicated SmartLinks. Podkite's Kitelinks offer similar trackable link functionality, and UTM parameters with hosting analytics provide partial attribution. But the seamless, podcast-specific attribution that SmartLinks offered remains a gap in the market.
