Free covers basic editing with a limited template and asset library. Premium is the plan most creators need: it unlocks premium templates, 250 generative AI credits a month and 100GB of storage.
Adobe Express is priced as a low-cost design subscription, not a full Creative Cloud plan. Premium at $9.99/mo is the realistic choice for creators making thumbnails, social graphics and short videos every week.
Firefly Pro at $19.99/mo is for heavy AI use. It raises the allowance to 4,000 monthly generative credits and adds video and audio generation plus Photoshop access, so it only makes sense if AI generation is a daily part of your workflow.
Generative credits are the main limit to watch. Premium's 250 monthly credits cover occasional AI fills and edits, but bulk image generation will run through them quickly.

Stay on Free if you mainly resize graphics and use basic templates. Choose Premium once you want premium templates, brand assets and regular AI features.
Move to Firefly Pro only if you generate images, video or audio with AI most days. Compare it with Canva Pro if you mainly need templates and team sharing.
